Margaux Susi is a Cuban-American director, actor, and producer from Miami, FL. This means she loves salsa dancing and her mother asks her once a week when she’ll be given a grandchild. Margaux’s most drawn to slightly irreverent comedies that are character driven.
Her short film guts, starring Kate Burton and Angela Giarratana, World Premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and won a Jury Award at the Palm Springs International Shortsfest. Her most recent film, Uncle Johnny won the audience award at the 2025 Austin Film Festival and her film, The Sperm Bank, World Premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.
Margaux most recently vocal directed the Academy-Award winning Netflix animated film, KPop Demon Hunters, which is now the most watched thing on Netflix, ever. She is also an English Dubbing director and directs global series for Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and HBO.
Margaux is currently in the 2026 Ryan Murphy HALF Initiative Director's Program. She was also a finalist for the 2024 Shondaland + Seriesfest Women’s Directing Mentorship and is a 2025 AWD Latina Director Fellow.
In the theatre space, Margaux is the Associate Artistic Director of the award-winning IAMA Theatre Company in Los Angeles where she currently resides. She Associate Directed Alexis Scheer's 'Our Dear Dead Drug Lord' at Center Theatre Group in association with IAMA Theatre Co. which got rave reviews. She also directed Sheila Carrasco’s (CBS' Ghosts) solo show 'Anyone But Me' for IAMA’s virtual season which the LA Times raved had “stellar direction.”
As an actor, Margaux was seen in IAMA’s 24/25 season opener 'The Very Best People' by John Lavelle. Select TV/film credits include Hulu's Clock, FX'S Better Things, Netflix’s Dear White People, HULU's Tell Me Lies, Apple TV's Central Park, Disney's Olaf's Frozen Adventure, and over 40 dubs on Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu.
